Unreal Fest 2023 kicking off!

The big news right off the bat is that the Epic CEO announced changes coming to licensing for non-game developers. Sounds like the film/tv/automotive/commercial guys will be paying an enterprise license like adobe or maya coming soon. Game developers will not be affect we were assured, and the royalty of 5% beyond your first $1 million will not increase, if anything it will decrease. And you can always contact their sales department and negotiate a non-royalties based license.
